Kim Coleman Foote, author of Coleman Hill (SJP Lit/Zando, 2023), is a finalist for the Carol Shields Prize for Fiction and the NAACP Image Award. Her forthcoming 2027 novel, Salt Water Sister, intertwines women’s resistance to slavery in 1700s West Africa with contemporary fights for reparations.
